About LED and the Learning Organization

The purpose of the Learning and Employee Development Division is to empower and support Santa Clara County employees in achieving their full potential by providing opportunities for skill building, personal growth, and professional development.

Through tailored programs and resources, we aim to enhance the capacity of the County workforce, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to maximize their effectiveness in serving the community.

Learning and Employee Development is a subset of the County's Learning Organization led by Landee Lopez. The Learning Organization comprises of:

Learning and Employee Development
Employee Wellness Division
Office of Data Oversight, Management and Evaluation (ODOME)
Team Based Work which includes The Solutions Hub*, Center for Leadership and Transformation (CLT) and Unit-Based Team (UBT)
